Families never pay, and are never asked to
The registries are free and always will be. We never ask the families of the missing for money, and nothing on a registry asks them to donate. Our funding comes from organisations and grant-makers only.
What funding pays for
Native-language review
Paying community translators to review every page in Tigrinya, Amharic, Afaan Oromo, Somali and Arabic, so families read their own language, not a machine's.
Security and data protection
Hosting, backups, security reviews and the safeguards that keep the person reporting anonymous and ensure nothing is published without consent.
The next registries
Opening Missing From Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan on the same shared platform. The domains are already secured.
Reaching families
Outreach through the community channels families already use, so that people searching for someone know a registry exists.
Where we are today
We are a young organisation, and we report only what can be checked.
- Four live registries: Eritrea and Sudan since 2025, Ethiopia and Somalia since 2026
- 150+ documented cases across the network
- 6 languages, including Tigrinya, Amharic, Afaan Oromo and Somali
- Free and open to anyone, with no ads and no tracking
